Mike worked at British Airways for over 25 years as a long-haul Captain. Other employers include British Aerospace, Perkins and Accenture. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering gained at Imperial College London, and a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Cranfield University.

Mike advocates thoughtful, nuanced leadership that supports, develops and empowers colleagues. He is interested in how Human Factors such as distraction, stress, fatigue and workload, interact to limit performance. Mike also has significant experience in both Total Quality and Change Management.
