David has a Masters Degree in Sports Sociology and Sports Management and enjoyed a professional career in sport and leisure management, mainly in a local government setting.  He has a very good understanding of the workings of our town, borough and county councils.

David is chairman of Farnham Sports Council and he has voluntarily sat on and chaired some of the main sporting bodies in Surrey and he is on the management board of Surrey County Cricket Club.
